Sin embargo, en el proceso de creación hay que tomar en cuenta cuál es el objetivo de mostrar una presentación audiovisual y el efecto que se quiere causar en el público.
Sabiendo esto, es importante enfocarse desde un principio en elaborar una presentación impactante, con estructura lógica, fácil de digerir y directa a eso que se desea transmitir. Esto cambia la idea errónea de que una presentación es un recurso para facilitarle el discurso al ponente, por el contrario es una herramienta dirigida específicamente a la audiencia, para mantener su atención en el discurso.

1.Planear y organizar el contenido
Este paso requiere de un estudio detallado de todo el contenido que se va a abordar en la presentación. A veces tenemos mucha información y la queremos plasmar de inmediato, pero lo mejor es seleccionar el contenido más adecuado para la audiencia.
En este sentido, esquematizar es una buena opción para dar forma a las ideas. Para ello, es necesario reunir toda la información y empezar a estructurar con un orden lógico que siga la esencia del discurso. La estructura tradicional es dividir el contenido en introducción, cuerpo y conclusión, pero cada parte debe ser lo más atractiva posible para generar interés en la audiencia con una presentación impactante.
Realizar subdivisiones en la sección de cuerpo, es una una buena forma de estructurar cada ítem que se desea abordar y hace más fácil la comprensión del mensaje. En este sentido, debe existir coherencia entre lo que se dice y lo que se muestra en las diapositivas.
Cuando se coloca la misma información que se va a explicar oralmente en las diapositivas, el resultado puede ser contraproducente, porque el nivel de comprensión disminuye si se está leyendo y escuchando al mismo tiempo. Recuerda que las imágenes o videos sirven para facilitar la comprensión en los diferentes aspectos que vas a abordar. Para ello, debes estructurar el contenido diapositiva por diapositiva incluyendo de una vez las imágenes que vas usar en cada una. De esta manera estarás dando forma a las ideas con antelación y a la hora de diseñar será más fácil agrupar todo de forma eficaz.
2. Colocar menos texto en las diapositivas: esto es esencial cuando estás planificando el contenido, porque desde el inicio puedes enfocar mejor tu discurso. Para ello es recomendable evitar las listas interminables con viñetas que producen un efecto anticipado de aburrimiento.
Cuando se le muestra al público toda la información de manera textual, es menos probable que se mantenga atento durante la presentación, incluso puede tomar una postura de rechazo desde que observa toda la información escrita.
La idea es hacer que la audiencia te escuche, pero si colocas mucha información textual estarás haciendo lo contrario, es decir, los estarás obligando a leer y dejar de escucharte. Entonces para lograr que exista esa conexión entre el discurso y el material de apoyo, es imprescindible evitar colocar demasiado texto en las diapositivas.
3. Simplifica la información: cuando quieres transmitir un mensaje extenso, lo mejor es esquematizar tu contenido, de manera que se haga más entendible. Para ello, puedes utilizar diagramas, gráficos, ilustraciones o infografías que te permitan sintetizar el contenido para procesarlo mejor.
En algunos casos será necesario eliminar la información menos relevante, seleccionando sólo lo más atractivo, sin perder los aspectos esenciales. De esta manera, puedes mantener la calidad del contenido y lograr una presentación impactante.
La clave está en ponérsela fácil a tu audiencia siendo estratégico en todo el contenido que deseas transmitir.
2. Valorar el público al que va dirigido y qué queremos transmitir
Considerar el tipo de audiencia es un punto clave antes de empezar a realizar una presentación impactante. Esto es determinante para estructurar el contenido de acuerdo al conocimiento, actitudes y valores del público.
En este sentido, debes ser consciente de cualquier aspecto que defina al público, para saber cómo abordar el tema y mostrarlo en una presentación impactante. También debes estar claro sobre la actitud inicial que deben tener los espectadores con respecto al tema. Esto te ayudará a pensar en lo que necesita escuchar tu público y que recomendaciones están buscando en tu presentación.
